Peer Review Policy

All scientific articles submitted to the *Ұлт жады* journal undergo mandatory peer review to ensure the quality, scientific validity, and accuracy of the published material.

Peer Review Type
The journal employs a double-blind peer review process: the author's identity is unknown to the reviewer, and the reviewer's identity is unknown to the author. This ensures an objective and impartial assessment.

Peer Review Process
1. Upon receipt, the manuscript undergoes an initial check by the editorial office for alignment with the journal's scope and formatting requirements, as well as an originality check using the StrikePlagiarism system.
2. Manuscripts that pass the initial check are sent to at least two independent reviewers—experts in the relevant scientific field.
3. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript using a standardized questionnaire, considering scientific novelty, relevance, the validity of conclusions, research methodology, the reliability of sources, and formatting quality.
4. Based on the review, one of the following decisions is made: recommend for publication; recommend for publication after revision; or reject.
5. If comments are raised, the manuscript is returned to the author for revision. The revised article may be sent for re-review.
6. The editorial board makes the final decision regarding publication based on the reviewers' recommendations.

Timelines
The editorial office notifies authors upon receipt of the manuscript and regarding the review results. The average review period is up to four weeks.

Confidentiality
Manuscripts under review are treated as confidential material. Reviewers and editorial staff do not disclose their content to third parties or use them for personal purposes.

Storage
Reviews are stored by the editorial office for a designated period and may be made available upon request by authorized bodies.
